A SERVPRO booth set up at the Convention Center

WV Construction & Design Expo 2022

Last month, we attended the WV Construction and Design Expo. Pictured above is the booth we set up along with the equipment we did demonstrations with. The DocuSketch camera helps us accurately and efficiently give estimates for both residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction jobs.

We had a great time connecting with our clients and spreading our wealth of knowledge with West Virginia residents.

2022 Kanawha Valley Board of Realtors Education Fair

Sarah and Austin had a great time representing SERVPRO at the Kanawha Valley Board of Realtors Education Fair last month. They spent the day talking to realtors about the services we can provide their clients, such as deodorization and mold remediation.

Adopt-a-Highway Community Cleanup

SERVPRO of North Kanawha and Teays Valley partnered with West Virginia's Department of Environmental Protection's Adopt-a-Highway program to make a difference in the community. We adopted a two mile stretch of 1st Avenue in Nitro, WV to keep clean. On August 3, 2021 together with a group of our staff, we picked up 14 bags of trash along this stretch of road in Nitro.

“We are excited to work with Adopt a Highway in Nitro, the town our offices call home. We are proud to be a local small business and are always looking for ways to serve in our neighborhood and surrounding areas. We hope to inspire others to do good in their communities as well, because you get more when you give back.” – Julie Reynolds, Owner

Sarah And Austin at Dunbar Police Department's National Night Out

Dunbar Police Department National Night Out

We had so much fun at Dunbar Police Department's National Night Out on August 3, 2021. We handed out green and orange balloons to the kids, gave Stormy and Blaze temporary tattoos and had a lollipop tree where the kids could win prizes. It was an awesome night of community and fellowship with our local first responders at the Dunbar Police Department.

Construction and Design Expo 2018

We had such a wonderful time sharing the SERVPRO Story with the attendees at this years Construction & Design Expo. https://wvexpo.com/ at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, WV.

At this years expo we were able to demonstrate the infrared technology that we use in our water mitigations as well as our wall cavity camera that we use so we don't have to be as destructive as in the past before this technology was available. We also use this camera  to inspect ductwork as well.
