United Way Day of Caring 2021

On September 15, 2021 SERVPRO of North Kanawha Valley and Teays Valley participated in United Way's annual Day of Caring. This day consisted of partnering with Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley in their efforts to make homes safer for senior citizens. We build a more sturdy handrail for a senior citizen in Elkview, WV as well as tidied up her yard. Is was a day full of community service and teamwork. We are always happy to give back to the community that treats us so well!

Adopt-a-Highway Community Cleanup

SERVPRO of North Kanawha and Teays Valley partnered with West Virginia's Department of Environmental Protection's Adopt-a-Highway program to make a difference in the community. We adopted a two mile stretch of 1st Avenue in Nitro, WV to keep clean. On August 3, 2021 together with a group of our staff, we picked up 14 bags of trash along this stretch of road in Nitro.

“We are excited to work with Adopt a Highway in Nitro, the town our offices call home. We are proud to be a local small business and are always looking for ways to serve in our neighborhood and surrounding areas. We hope to inspire others to do good in their communities as well, because you get more when you give back.” – Julie Reynolds, Owner

Dunbar Police Department National Night Out

We had so much fun at Dunbar Police Department's National Night Out on August 3, 2021. We handed out green and orange balloons to the kids, gave Stormy and Blaze temporary tattoos and had a lollipop tree where the kids could win prizes. It was an awesome night of community and fellowship with our local first responders at the Dunbar Police Department.

Construction and Design Expo 2018

We had such a wonderful time sharing the SERVPRO Story with the attendees at this years Construction & Design Expo. https://wvexpo.com/ at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, WV.

At this years expo we were able to demonstrate the infrared technology that we use in our water mitigations as well as our wall cavity camera that we use so we don't have to be as destructive as in the past before this technology was available. We also use this camera  to inspect ductwork as well.
