We are One Team

Last month, our brand saw potentially the biggest storm event in our history throughout the South Central region of the United States. This record setting storm caused by a disruption in the polar vortex left thousands without power and with frozen water lines. States affected included Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, and many others. Places like Texas where they are not used to more than a day of snow flurries had to deal with the lack of infrastructure for an event such as this one.

And in an instant SERVPRO says “How can we help?” We immediately started getting emails asking franchises to mobilize storm crews to assist in high need areas. A call to action was put in place and franchises, included our own, took the opportunity to help. We quickly began planning and packing. Crew leaders jumped at the chance to be a helping hand. That Monday morning, we were on our way to assist a community in need hours away. ONE Team. This is a phrase we hear often here at SERVPRO. In that moment, we were one team with one collective goal. We came together without hesitation. If that does not speak to what we are all about, I do not know what does.

We see this a lot in our beautiful country. In times of need and in moments of chaos, we become one- ONE Team.
